The Ronald Yurcak Foundation was created in 2003 in memory of Ronald Yurcak, an All-American lacrosse player at Rutgers and decorated veteran of the Vietnam War who became a pioneering bond trader on Wall Street. Yurcak served on the Rutgers University Foundation Board of Overseers and helped build its soccer and lacrosse field, which is named after him.

Mr. Yurcak's daughter, Jennifer Yurcak, and son-in-law, Kevin Ruuhela, were instrumental in the creation of HSIF at Indiana University.
